Establishment of the department

The Department of Legal Affairs was established on October First 2014. After the split of the legal affairs department and administrative to three departments.

Objectives

1. The formulation of legal advice in relation to all legal, administrative and financial issues at the university in accordance with the laws and legislation in force.

2. The organization of each with regard to the employment contracts and guarantees of the affiliates of the university (Staff and employees).

3. Follow-up of all the property of the University of where the allocation and transfer of property.

4. Follow-up of all the proceedings of the university by others and vise versa (The University claims of others).

5. Consideration and all the preliminary investigative committees and discriminatory practices related to the rights of the university and its employees.

The responsibilities of the director of the department

1.    The Director in the exercise the following powers for the conduct of the work of the department in the required format:.

2.    The distribution of tasks among the staff working in the department to conduct the work.

3.    Approval of granting the usual holidays that do not exceed 10 days and the ratification of the sick leave.

4.    To recommend approval of the usual holidays, sick leave, increased to 10 days in addition to the school holidays.

5.  Supervision of the performance of the work in the follow-up of the activities of the employees.

6. The recommendation to impose a penalty on the negligent employees.

7. The Proposal to send thanks and appreciation documents to the distinguished and creative employees.

8. The recommendation to grant allowances to the advancement and promotion of the degree from one grade to other for employees in the department.

9. Recommendation recruitment, placement and dispensing with the services of any of the employees in the department in accordance with the laws and regulations.

10. Proposing that the employees in the department be assigned additional work outside official working hours within the laws and regulations of the organization.

11. The staff department should be represented by the department of the scientific and technical conferences and seminars within the specialist of the department.

12. The distribution of tasks and responsibilities between the members of the department and help to develop the performance of the work and improved within the specified.

13. Recommendation the dispatch to employees within the country and for a period not exceeding one week.

14. To recommend various allocations for all employees in the department.

15. Evaluation of the performance of the staff in the department and submitting it to the relevant authorities.

16. The proposal of a temporary appointment of employees in the department to fill shortfalls in staffing to ensure the speed of action.

17. To recommend approval of the fixation of the staff of the department in their employment at the completion of the legal term Required.

18. The recommendation to assign the duties of the department to one of its members in cases of habitual enjoying the holidays, Sick and dispatch.

19. Any other responsibilities  conferred upon it by its direct investment

The Powers of the Director of Departemnt in the Presidency of the University:

 

 The Director exercise of the following powers for the conduct of the work in the Presidency of the University:

1. The distribution of tasks among the employees in the department to conduct the work.

2. Approval of granting the usual holidays that do not exceed 10 days and the ratification of the Sick leave.
