Appointing Dr Tareq Hamid Al-Fahdawi as a Director of the University of Anbar Centre for Strategic Studies

 We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tareq Hamid Al-Fahdawi as the Director of the University of Anbar Centre for Strategic Studies. Dr Tareq Hamid Al-Fahdawi holds a PhD in International Law from Macquarie Law School- Macquarie University in Australia, in addition to a second master’s degree in Intelligence from the School of Security Studies and Criminology- Australia. Dr. Al-Fahdawi previously held the position of Head of the Department of Security and Community Studies at the same centre before assuming his current responsibilities.

We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the President of the University of Anbar, Prof Mushtak Talib Al-Neda, for his confidence in Dr Tareq Hamid Al-Fahdawi and for entrusting him with this responsibility, as well as for his continuous support in ensuring the success of the university and its research centres.

We wish Dr Al-Fahdawi success in his new role and look forward to a bright future for the Centre for Strategic Studies.
