According to satellite observation and monitoring, it is expected, according to Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mekhlif, a climate expert in the Natural Resources Development Department at the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre - University of Anbar, that Iraq will witness a severe cold wave at the end of this month that threatens temperatures below zero degrees Celsius and snowfall in large parts of Iraq.
