Weather update for 1-1-2024

The Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Center – University of Anbar announced a weather update for 1-1-2024. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mikhlif, a climate expert in the Department of Natural Resources Development, said that the formation of rain cells on a small scale was monitored, which began in the southwestern part of Anbar Governorate, specifically (Arar and Al-Nukhayb) during the night, as shown by the satellite image in Image No. (1), and then moved to the southern regions of Iraq to fall sporadic rain in each of (Nasiriyah - Kufa - Amara - Basra) as shown by the satellite image in image No. (2) and then these clouds fade After that, the weather will be clear, God willing, knowing that the minimum and maximum temperature and the expected weather for Monday 1/1/2024 in Anbar and a number of Iraqi governorates are as follows:
