Participation in an international scientific conference

The Head of the Natural Resources Department at the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre, Assistant Professor Dr. (Muneer Naji Ahmed), participated in the Second International Scientific Conference (Renewable and Green Energy) held by the Natural Resources Research Centre at the University of Tikrit for the period 1-2 / November / 2023, at Al-Khwarizmi Hall, the conference was entitled: (Towards a sustainable future - the role of renewable energy sources in bridging the gap of the Iraqi energy sector).

The conference dealt with several main topics related to the renewable energy sources sector, the most important of which were: (solar energy - wind energy - hydroelectric power - geothermal energy - associated gas energy - waste recycling energy). The conference included the holding of the scientific exhibition for renewable energy at the Tikrit University Stadium, where companies interested in this field gather to display their products and share their experiences and services that have a positive impact on society and energy consumption in the country.

A group of experts, academics and researchers in this important vital sector from various universities and local and international scientific research institutions participated in the conference, and the participation of the head of the natural resources department was with a research paper entitled: (spatial analyses of reliability of solar power in the western part of Iraq)

We wish the researcher more brilliance and success in his scientific career and success for all staff of the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Centre.
