Laboratories Unit: Developing skills for preparing, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment in the centre

In implementation of what was approved by the Scientific Committee of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre in its last meeting of the need to organize courses for the centre's employees and workers in the centre's laboratories within the laboratories unit in the college, a training course on the operation and maintenance of the Kjeldahl device and the preparation of materials for this device began in the centre's laboratories. Prof. Dr. Akram Abdel Lateef Hassan Al-Hadithi will lecture in the course. The course aims to develop and increase the skills of examiners and researchers working on this device and methods of preparing the standard materials necessary to complete the various tests by this device, which was recently equipped with the centre's laboratories under the guidance of the university presidency as part of its plan to support and develop the laboratories of research centres.

Assistant Professor Dr. Muthanna Badie, Head of the Laboratories Unit, stated that the course is one of a series of courses on the preparation of the use and maintenance of laboratory equipment for the employees of the laboratory unit at the center, which will be organized successively and according to what was approved by the scientific committee at the center to support the plan to obtain accreditation.

Badie, who is also the reporter of the Scientific Committee, added that the research plan that was agreed upon at the meeting of the centre's management and the scientific committee includes a number of qualitative training courses that are being prepared, and then coordination is taking place with the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Anbar to be within the curriculum of the courses announced by the center.
