Termination and Assuming New Management of the Center

On Sunday, 28th of November 2021, Prof. Dr. Isam Mohammed Abdulhameed, the former Director of the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Centre, was terminated his works and the new Director of the Centre’s Management Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, was assumed his works.

During the delivery of the department, an introductory tour was conducted by the former Director and the Centre's staff to the new Centre's laboratories, departments and halls. A meeting was then held in the conference room of the Centre, during which several things were discussed, the most important of which were:

-      Updating the Board of the Center.

-      The centre’s research plan and the discussion of its latest update.

-      Follow-up of the Horan Valley and pistachios projects.

-      Suggesting of a journal for the Centre for the Development of the Upper Euphrates Basin.

-      Update the data of Anbar provinces similar to Haditha district data.

-      Rehabilitationof the terminal station building in Haditha, and follow-up of legal and administrative procedures to complete it.

-      Approaching the university to support the centre with additional administrative staff to fill the shortage in the centre.
