Efficiency of blue green algae in sewage treatment at Ramadi Hospital

The Assistant Professor Dr. Hala Arshad Ali, a researcher at the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center, on Tuesday, 16th of November 2021, delivered a seminar entitled: The efficiency of blue green algae in the treatment of sewage water at Ramadi Hospital (Maternity and Obstetrics). The objectives of this study are:

-      Identification of sewage water properties at Ramadi Hospital for Women and Obstetrics.

-      Wastewater treatment at Ramadi Hospital using Ciano bacteria.

-      Investigating the ability of algae to eliminate pollutants in wastewater and their viability.

-      Biological treatment of water to be suitable for release into the river in accordance with environmental standards.

The seminar was attended by a number of the centre’s staff who interacted with the subject of the study because it affects the environmental and health realities in the province, especially with regard to pollutants.
