Development of a Stability Analysis Program for Control Systems in MATLAB Environment

In a new scientific achievement added to the series of accomplishments at the Renewable Energy Research Center, Assistant Lecturer Qusai Hatem Issa, a faculty member at the center, has developed a specialized program for stability analysis of control systems within the MATLAB environment. The MATLAB developers were contacted, and after presenting the program and its mechanism, it was accepted for publication by MathWorks, reflecting the significance of this work and the company's recognition of its quality.

The program aims to simplify the process of analyzing system stability by allowing users to input the numerator and denominator coefficients of the transfer function and analyze the system's condition based on the positions of the poles. The program enables users to perform precise calculations such as Phase Margin and Gain Margin, facilitating the determination of system stability in a scientific manner.

This program serves as a powerful tool for engineering students, academics, and engineers working in the field of Control Systems who seek to utilize advanced techniques such as Bode Plot and Nyquist Plot for analyzing and designing stable control systems. Additionally, the program provides critical information such as Phase Margin and Gain Margin, which are essential elements in ensuring system stability and efficiency.

This development represents an important step towards enhancing research and application capabilities in the field of control systems and strengthens the position of the Renewable Energy Research Center as a leading institution in this domain.
