A New Patent for One of researcher Staff in Our RERC

In order to enhance scientific research systems to support researchers, including graduate students and professors, and equip our esteemed university with the latest and most accurate measurement systems, the researcher, Assistant Professor Dr. Raid Khadhir Salman, a researcher at the Center for Renewable Energy Research, has developed an intelligent system for controlling the operation of a disc apparatus known for measuring the thermal conductivity of polymeric compounds and other materials with low thermal conductivity. The system's operation is based on a microprocessor chip within an electronic circuit connected to sensors that connect to measurement discs, replacing the traditional method relying on slow-responding mercury thermometers. Control of the initiation of the examination and monitoring of measurements is carried out through software developed by the researcher for communication and control of the microprocessor, providing the user with accurate data in a record time. The system's advantage lies in saving the effort and time required to conduct such tests, in addition to the high precision provided by the data through high-precision sensors and the microprocessor.
