University of Anbar futsal team won the first place in Al-Ma'rif first futsal championship organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Al-Ma'rif University College after winning over Al-Nisour College team with a result of ( 6-4 goals ) in the championship that witnessed the participation of (13) Iraqi governmental and private universities which has ended with the culmination of the University of Anbar team a champion for it.

From his part, the President of the University of Anbar the Prof. Dr. Mushtak Talib Salih Al-Neda has congratulated the University of Anbar team for obtaining the first place , wishing them success and good luck  in getting advanced positions in other sports championships.

The University of Anbar futsal  team presented its gratitude to the President of the University and to the Vice-President for the Administrative Affairs for their ongoing support and direct follow up to the team's preparations which provided them with confidence to exert great efforts in order to obtain the advanced positions in the sports championships.
