College of Agriculture Holds a Workshop in Hit to Find out the Problems Facing Buffalo Breeding

 

Referring to the directives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in supporting the holding of conferences, seminars and indicative workshops for buffalo breeders and to increase the knowledge culture of ways to benefit from the available rough feed, reeds and hay, and how to improve reproductive efficiency and health and veterinary care, and under the direct guidance of the Deanship of College of Agriculture, the Department of Animal Production in the College has been communicating with the various institutions that request scientific advice, and based on the principle of serving community, professors from the Department of Animal Production  at College of Agriculture held a workshop in the Hit Agriculture Division aimed at communicating directly with buffalo breeders from the region’s population. Problems encountered in raising buffaloes and providing scientific solutions. Prof. Dr. Thaer Rasheed Muhammad, Prof. Dr. Uday Sabah A'skar, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ammar Raheem Mansour, in the presence of the head of the Animal Production Department, Prof. Dr. Dhafer Thabit Muhammad. Attended the workshop, the director of the Hit Agriculture Division, the veterinarian and manger of Agriculture Secondary school and a number of agricultural engineers in the Hit Agriculture Division and a large number of buffalo breeders in the region.
