Haditha Basic Education College Holds a Workshop on Social Media Websites and their Dangers on Society

 

In the presence of the Dean of Haditha Basic Education College Prof. Dr. Mudher Abid Ali, the unit of psychological and educational guidance at the college held a guide workshop entitled the social media websites and their dangers on society in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdullateef Ahmed lectured in it and ran by the vice-dean for scientific affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rajab Mohammed.

At the beginning of the symposium the Dean talked about a necessity of holding such guide aware symposiums for the College students, then the Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs stressed that it is the duty of a foresaid Unit to direct our students to what benefit them and what damaging them concerning the social media websites as the students are the educated group which lead society and enlighten its way towards development. 

The lecture included the social media websites and their positive and negative effects and what we witness today of crimes and destroying ethics of the society through social media websites and amongst the spread of the sins, crimes , drugs , killing and suicide whether intentionally or unintentionally which make us warn our students and sons of these temptations and advise them to take what is beneficial for them and amongst constructing the sincere social relations and spreading virtue and do not believe rumors and do not spread sins and promoting for them but to benefit from useful and scientific websites such as reading with different types of electronic books and increasing libraries websites which the student needed where the education has become necessary virtually and not optionally and by these information the student rises up and construct his personality and his scientific and mental talents grew and the desired aim achieved which the nation looking forward. The workshop was attended by a number of the college academics and students.
