Seminar on graduate students' research - Master's degree by the Department of Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering - Faculty of Engineering - Anbar University, within the framework of its weekly scientific activities for the academic year 2019/2018 and in the presence of a. M . Dr. Akram Shaker Mahmoud, Head of Department, Seminars, in particular.

On the Ibn al-Haytham Hall for discussions in the section Tuesday, 2019/4/16.

During the seminar, lectures were given to the teaching staff:

a . Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Aziz

a . M . Dr. Talal Hussein Fadel

  a . M . Dr. Shilan Mahmoud Hama

 Lecture entitled

Effect of Temperature on engineering Properties of Flexible Pavement materials using Numerical Modeling

The effect of temperature on the engineering characteristics of the flexible pavement, the numerical analysis of the results and the use of the KENPAVE program

The performance of the flexible tile varies according to the seasons of the year and the temperature changes in each chapter. Therefore, the research deals with the effect of the two classes of elasticity coefficient and the ratio of Poisson as they are the most important engineering characteristics of the material and their effect on structural design such as thickness of tiling and stresses and emotions that will be the result of traffic loads on flexible paving and different temperatures.

# Lecture entitled

Flexural behavior of composite steel-self compacting concrete

The structural behavior of the composite thresholds of iron and concrete is self-adhesive. The lecture is about the study of the bending behavior of this type of thresholds and the calculation of the slip between the concrete layer and the iron section under different attribution conditions

This type of threshold is important because it is common in bridges and wide spaces and the use of concrete concrete will contribute to the speed of construction and improve the performance of the origin.

The seminar was attended by members of the scientific committee, a number of faculty members in the department and postgraduate students for the research and preparatory years.
