Under the guidance of the Presidency of Anbar University and the support of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, students from the college (Abdullah Thamer Fares, Hammad Fahd Ali) participated in the fifth training program titled: "Preparing Leaders in Artificial Intelligence and Information Warfare," organized by the Institute for Leadership Preparation in collaboration with the Arab Universities Union and Aqaba University of Technology from September 8-9, 2024, until September 12, 2024.

The activities of this training program commenced with the presence of Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities and the President of Aqaba University of Technology, featuring a parade of the participating countries, which included 16 Arab nations: Egypt, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Comoros, Somalia, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Libya, and Yemen. This reflects the diversity and broad representation of the Arab world in this important event.

The Secretary-General of the Arab Universities Union clarified that the training program carries a title of great importance, especially in light of the fundamental transformations the world is experiencing due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the rapid shift towards the Fifth Industrial Revolution. He emphasized that this phase is redefining everything we know about industry, economy, and daily life, as artificial intelligence and information security have become integral parts of national and global strategies.

This program is considered a turning point in joint Arab cooperation, aiming to empower Arab youth to keep pace with the rapid changes in the digital and informational world, and seeks to build their capacities in the fields of artificial intelligence and information security. In addition, the program goes beyond theoretical lessons to practical applications, preparing participants to become future leaders in these vital fields.

The program's activities included a number of lectures presented by experts and specialists in the fields of leadership, charisma, and artificial intelligence, as well as an exhibition of the artistic and folk heritage of the participating countries, which served as a unique cultural platform to showcase the civilizational and artistic heritage of various Arab nations. There were also artistic performances and several tours of tourist and heritage sites. On the final day of the program, participation certificates were distributed to the participating students, along with appreciation certificates for those deserving.
