Under the auspices of Anbar University's Center for Strategic Studies, which is dedicated to advancing its research endeavors, the Center convened for the final time this academic year on July 2^nd , 2024, with the esteemed  Professor  Dr. Thaer Shaker Mahmoud Al-Hiti serving as chairman.

A lecture titled "Capacity of Patience and Commitment to the Ethics of Scientific Research" was presented  by the esteemed Professor Dr. Hamid Hammad Abed. Several crucial elements were highlighted by Prof. Dr. Hamid Hammad Abed regarding the procedure of publishing research in internationally databases:

1)    Communication with the specialized journals  covering the topic of the research to be submitted is required.

2)     The requirement to select an impact factor journal.

3)     Following the template specified by the academic journal.

4)     To maintain the integrity and professionalism of the study review, one of the journal's sobriety points is that the research's author is unaware of the arbitration committee. The process is referred to as double blind.

5)     Discussing  the specifics of the Scopus quartiles : Q1.Q2.Q3.Q4 classification, which is based on the quantity of journal citations received every two years.

6)     The arbitration committee must be free from any religious, political or social inclinations, ethnics, colors bias to ensure integrity and honesty.

Following the meeting, Professor Dr. Thaer Shaker Mahmoud Al-Hiti, the  head of the Center for Strategic Studies, wished everyone a pleasant holiday season and expressed his gratitude to both the valued Dr. Hamid Hammad Abed and the esteemed researchers of the Center.
