المحاضرات العلمية

الشهادات الاكاديمية

PhD in Civil Engineering, University of Manchester, UK 04.2014 – 10.2018

Thesis Title: Displacement-Based Approach of the Seismic Stability of Retaining Structures

Supervisors: Dr Ahmad Syed M Syed and Dr Domenico Lombardi

Thesis was awarded of the degree, subject to minor corrections (A2).

The main aim of this study was to evaluate and provide a better understanding of the seismic behaviour of 2 types of retaining walls viz., a rigid-type retaining wall and a cantilever-type retaining wall for a safe and economic design. 2 papers were published at HQ journals in addition to 4 conference papers during this study.
