An introduction to the central library at the University of Anbar

    The Central Library was established in 1988. Its beginning was simple. It included books, references and researches issued by the university as well as some specialized groups. The number of books was only 2,000 books, including reference books, sources, periodicals, letters and university papers. The library is keen to introduce new advanced services such as Internet service, upgrading the services provided by the library and developing its collection in order to meet the needs of its beneficiaries. The library aims to collect books, references and documents, collect and arrange various information vessels printed and electronic, and arrange and organize them to achieve the objectives of the library.

 

   Library Objectives:

    The Library aims to achieve the following objectives:

1. Support the curriculum to enhance the scientific progress of the university.

2. To provide the modern information vessels for university employees in order to take note of the most important scientific developments.

3. Supervising the sub-libraries of the faculties of the university and contributing to its policy.

4. Cooperate with other libraries inside and outside the governorate to provide services to beneficiaries.

5. Provide the best information services by various means and methods.

6. Help students prepare their research, write their own letters and research workshops on all topics.

7. Provide information to researchers and researchers that relate to innovative research that enriches and develops human knowledge.

8. Make it a center of research dissemination and distribution centers conducted by professors, students and researchers.
