UOA President Meets with ABET and Teaching Cadre

Tuesday 26/6/2018, President of UOA met with the teaching cadre of the college of Engineering and the ABET committee of the college on the hall of the college. The meting was attended by the dean of the college and his assistants. The president of UOA stated during the meeting that pointers indicate a stady development in the scientific performance of the university in general and the college of Engineering in particular. He stressed the importance of working with team spirit to develop the level of the college and its requirements with particular reference to sticking to ABET requireents in taching and reconsidering the formation of sub-committees of ABET in the college in order to qualify for academic accreditation. Discussions were carried on the formation of laboratories unit in the college, updating lecturing methods by using technolog and e-lectures, urging staff members to publish in indexed international academic journals, and upgrading their computer and e-library skills.
