April 10 , 2018 College of Education for Humanities hosted a lecture presented by Prof. Dr. Abdulhameed Hardan Al-Alwani the consultant , a teaching staff member of the Saudi Um Al-Qura University and a visiting professor of Brunel University London .
Entitled the Third Mission of the World Universities , the lecture was attended by prof. Dr. Khalid Batal Al-Najim the university president , his two scientific and administrative assistants and a number of colleges' deans at Al-Jahidh hall of the college .The lecture presented by Prof. Dr. Abdulhameed Hardan Al-Alwani the consultant , a teaching staff member of the Saudi Um Al-Qura University and a visiting professor of Brunel University London .
This lecture came after the openness by Anbar University to the world & Arab scientific universities to utilize the expertise and experiences to keep the university on the line of distinction .
It also drew upon the third mission of universities in developing the societal knowledge ,economy and the most important experiences of the world universities in this respect in addition to the promising ones in the pioneering conversion and in performing the third mission in the Saudi universities like Um Al-Qura University and its experience in building and developing Wadi Mecca (the valley of Mecca ) .
