   President of University of Anbar meets with the President of the Fund for the reconstruction of areas affected by terrorist operations for purpose of supporting the university and rehabilitation

Following the efforts of the University to return to Ramadi ‘original site’ and rehabilitation, The President of the University, Professor Dr. Engineer Khaled Al-Najim, met with Dr. Mustafa Al-Hiti, the president of the reconstruction fund for the areas affected by terrorist operations on July 5^th 2017, to discuss the reconstruction projects of the university funded by the Fund.

Eventually, the two sides agreed to ‘sign a memorandum of cooperation’ between the head of the Fund and the University “the services of the Engineering Advisory Office at the college of Engineering” to benefit and support of the University for the future work of the Fund which will contribute to the restoration of stability in the province regions via the role of the University in serving the community and its capacity and development in various disciplines.

The president of the reconstruction fund ‘promised to support the university in the future’ through the implementation of some projects at the university as well as giving the university the attention it deserves about scientific laboratories through ‘international grants and loans’, especially after return of the university to Ramadi.
