Prof Mohmmed Al- Hamadani, the head of Anbar University opened a seminar concerning history and civilization at University alternative site in Baghdad.

 The seminar was attended by dean of college of education and human Arts, college of Education for Girls, heads of departments of history in these colleges and elite history instructors in colleges. During this seminar, Mr. President focuses on the importance of our history and we should pay a great attention to our history because it's the lamp that lightens our future.

Mr. President also said that, we did not give history a priority and it becomes something secondary at schools that why the new generation knows little about our great history. Moreover, he said Arabs and Muslims were builders of civilization, why do not we return this ancient civilization. We need to rewrite the philosophy and ideology of history which is completely misunderstood by many and this is a catastrophe because we can't do anything for future unless, we know a lot of our history.

The Episode included many extensive discussions on the history and civilization of the Arab and Islamic nation resulted in establishing an association of historians in Anbar University that takes on the interest highlighting the history and heritage of Anbar province and show the cultural aspects in our history. At the end of the seminar a preparatory committee was formed headed by Prof. Dr. Jamal Hashim Dhouib / Dean of the Faculty of Education for humanities for this purpose.
